About Marla

Yes, I am a transplant to the great state of South Carolina, and I LOVE IT! There are 50 states in America, and I CHOSE this one! I was born and raised in Southern California, where I spent my childhood days on the beautiful beaches of Huntington. The US Navy later sent me to Seattle ( as a sailor's wife), and I stayed 27 years. I enjoy both international travel and exploring different regions within the United States. I have a deep love and passion for animals, and I find tremendous peace, joy, and fulfillment in serving at my local church. My husband and I are blessed with six children, and 2 dogs (Radar and Cupcake). Now, a little about my experience. I have over 21 years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending, including new home sales, resales, and short sale negotiations. I am also certified as a New Home Sales Professional, which gives me a solid understanding of new construction.
